Bowie Supperclub

Tucked beneath the storied streets of Old Montreal, Bowie is an exclusive supperclub that redefines intimacy, elegance, and spectacle. Opened in late 2024, this 3,000 square-foot basement venue offers a sensorial immersion into an era of opulence and glamour—where the spirit of 1980s London and New York speakeasies meets contemporary design precision.

Upon arrival, guests pass through a discreet vestibule adorned with botanical tapestry and anchored by a sculptural hostess counter. This carefully framed threshold offers a first taste of Bowie’s unapologetic aesthetic—lush, moody, and mysterious. The absence of natural light is transformed into a virtue: the fully dimmed, windowless space cultivates a world apart, where time feels suspended and discretion is prized—echoing the codes of international members-only clubs.

Bowie’s spatial choreography is simple yet deliberate. A central corridor divides the room longitudinally, connecting the vestibule to the restrooms in the back, which culminate in a semi-circular mirrored lounge punctuated by a tiger-print upholstered pouf. On either side of the main space, plush lounge seating composed of custom couches and low tables invites lingering conversation.

Framing the perimeter, elevated banquettes and square dining tables provide a refined zone for shared dishes and light dining. On one end, the DJ booth anchors the evening’s energy; on the other, the bar stands as the architectural centerpiece.
From floor to ceiling, Bowie is an orchestrated play of textures, colors, and reflectivity.

The ultra-glossy burgundy ceiling features two recessed alcoves with soft backlighting that diffuses a theatrical warmth over the space. Below, black-stained wood flooring is paired with an expansive teal carpet insert, defining the central lounge zone. Walls behind the banquettes are upholstered in black velvet and subtly backlit, amplifying depth.

The palette is rich and unexpected—teal, mustard, and burgundy—complemented by tiger-print velvets and high-shine chrome.
The existing columns have been transformed into sculptural anchors: some clad in smoked mirror with black marble bases, others wrapped in polished chrome, reflecting the room's soft glow and dynamic social energy.
