March 2025: The historic Felix Faure brasserie in Nice has entered a bold new era, with London-based B3 Designers leading the transformation of its interiors. Rebranded to ‘Felix’, the restaurant’s essence has been reinterpreted for a new generation with a series of immersive spaces that are inspired by the city’s rich cultural and artistic heritage.
B3 Designers approached the project as a journey through time and place, crafting distinct zones that offer guests a different sensory experience in each space. Drawing from Nice’s traditional flower markets, winter gardens, and its role as a destination for affluent European travelers, the design weaves together heritage, elegance, and contemporary expression.

Upon arrival, guests step into the Winter Garden which pays tribute to Nice’s historic botanical havens. Trellis cladding, curved brass barfronts, custom stained glass, and oversized chandeliers create a dramatic yet inviting ambiance, softened by lush planting and upholstered barstools.
The Cabinet of Curiosities transports diners into the world of the 19th-century Grand Tour, filled with curated artifacts, vibrant maximalist artwork, rich upholstery, and soft, warm lighting reminiscent of opulent drawing rooms. The upstairs Promenade is inspired by the leisurely strolls of English visitors along the Promenade des Anglais. Soft azure blues and sandy beiges, striped drapery, palm trees, and ornate furnishings create a light-filled dining environment.
The Carnival Bar draws from the legendary Nice Carnival, immersing guests in a riot of color and movement with striped fabrics, a sun archway door, and celestial-inspired lighting. On the menu at Felix are Italian and French brasserie classics including crispy fritto misto, Puglian burrata, or the classic beef stew, and Neapolitan-style pizzas. The bar menu offers a range of innovative and signature cocktails.
