We have developed a sustainable bespoke furniture brand, Project Rattan, as a reaction to the rise in demand for cheap plastic furniture and in furtherance of our mission to provide grassroots support to local artisanal communities.
Rattan has been used as a weaving and basket material for household objects and furniture since ancient times. The Yas Hotel
The Yas Hotel, a 500-room, 85,000-square-meter complex, is one of the main architectural features of the ambitious 36-billion-dollar Yas Marina development and accompanying Formula 1 raceway circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Asymptote envisioned an architectural landmark embodying various key influences and inspirations ranging from the aesthetics and forms associated with speed, movement and spectacle to the artistry and geometries forming the basis of ancient Islamic art and craft traditions.

Client for this project is Dileep industries a renowned industry in the field of handicraft. Mr. Dileep Baid wanted a place which can showcase the roots of the company ideology and beliefs, and form a pleasant working stay for the employee and visitors. He wants natural light to penetrate every section of the office block. He aims for a building block to look like a resort. His desire to build a place of joy as the name comes Aanandalaya which he dedicated to his father Mr. Anand Baid.
