the parents' house from the founding period was last adapted in the 1970s.
the heir wanted to renovate it carefully and adapt it to his own family needs.
a direct connection to the garden with a seating area on a veranda, bathrooms, kitchen and building services up to date, as well as insulation of the roof were on the wish list.
the charm of the turn-of-the-century building was to be preserved in any case. the wooden box windows, parquet floors and panelled doors, including fittings, were therefore retained and repaired. the gas heating and water treatment system had to make way for an air heat pump and photovoltaics on the roof. the window that was left over from the new access to the rear garden was reinstalled in the kitchen and now lets in much more light. the dark vestibule, which was connected to the kitchen by a window, also benefits from this.
the new wooden veranda in the garden creates a sheltered seating area in the green.
building in and with the existing building is the theme of the future.
