Operation: The glass rooflight is available in both fixed and electrical versions. The electric version has wiring, and the solar-powered version is wireless. Furthermore, the window boasts excellent energy performance and sound reduction capabilities.
The electrical glass rooflight ensures daylight and an optimal room climate at the touch of a button using the pre-paired and wireless wall switch supplied. The motor is fully integrated into the window frame and does not obstruct the view. The scope of delivery includes a pre-assembled rain sensor that automatically closes the electric glass rooflight when it starts to rain, as well as a prepaired wall switch for operation at the touch of a button. For convenient operation and can also be controlled via a smartphone with the new VELUX App Control or with VELUX ACTIVE for smart control and maximum ease of use.
The solar glass rooflight is powered by the sun, meaning no wiring is necessary during installation - ideal for renovation and construction situations where there is no power supply. Battery operation is guaranteed even on cloudy days.
The fixed base unit is ideal for rooms where only daylight is desired.
